Bio:

Kyriakos Papadopoulos is a Siena Art Institute alum from the Fall 2017 semester, sponsored by the SNF-SART Scholarship Program with support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. He is a freelance architect and graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.  He loves ceramics and cooking, procedures that demand tactility and that connect person and substance in a primal manner.  As for the visual arts, his work revolves around the issue of memory and the tacit communication between the donor and the recipient.

Ο Κυριάκος Παπαδόπουλος φοίτησε στο Ινστιτούτο Τέχνης της Σιένα – SART Siena Art Institute κατά το εξάμηνο του 2017, με την υποτροφία του ΚΠΙΣΝ Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος & SART Siena Art Institute. Είναι αρχιτέκτονας, απόφοιτος του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης (ΑΠΘ). Του αρέσει η κεραμική και η μαγειρική, απτικές διαδικασίες που συνδέουν τον άνθρωπο και την ουσία με τρόπο αρχέγονο. Όσον αφορά τις εικαστικές τέχνες, το έργο του περιστρέφεται γύρω από το ζήτημα της μνήμης και τη σιωπηρή επικοινωνία μεταξύ του δότη και του αποδέκτη.
