Wednesday August 30 starting at 6.30 pm our musical program 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 will perform in a free admission show dedicated to Baroque music: a small gesture to thank the city of Siena which hosts our musicians from all over the world every year!

The event is made possible thanks to the warm welcome of the Contrada di Valdimontone, in their magnificent Oratory in Via Valdimontone 4, 53100 Siena (SI).

Mercoledi’ 30 agosto a partire dalle 18.30 l’accademia musicale 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 si esibirà in uno spettacolo a ingresso libero dedicato alla musica barocca: un piccolo gesto per ringraziare la città di Siena che tutti gli anni ospita musicisti da tutto il mondo!

L’evento è realizzato grazie alla calorosa accoglienza della Contrada di Valdimontone, nel loro magnifico Oratorio in Via Valdimontone 4, 53100 Siena (SI).

Friday Sept 1 a small performance will be held at Palazzo Ravizza in Siena, as part of the project “Fare buio per fare luce” with music to accompany the passage from sunset to dusk. 

Saturday Sept 2 a performance will be held at the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Siena museum. Open to the public with tickets costing 2 euro.  We hope you can join us!

Our current students are hard at work as we near the end of our Brandeis-in-Siena program, combining coursework in #painting and #arthistory. It’s been a super busy summer!

Open call to Greek students fully enrolled in a degree program in University / Art Programs and Art Academies, concentrating in (but not limited to) visual arts: painting, drawing, photography, video, design, and architecture.

The Siena Art Institute Onlus is a small non-profit arts organization based in the heart of Siena, Italy, one of Italy’s oldest and most beautiful university towns. We welcome artists from all disciplines who are interested in the intersection of art and civic life.

The SART Scholarships cover full tuition and accommodation in the historic city centre of Siena as well as access to studio space. Students are responsible for food, personal art supplies, and travel expenses during their semester in Siena.

The Fall 2023 semester at the Siena Art Institute runs Sept 11th-December 8th, 2023.

In order to apply, students need to supply the following:
– email request providing your name, school name, area of study, year of study, contact information – address, telephone number, e-mail.
– CV in English;
– Portfolio of 10 works of your choice that best represent their artistic research;
